Microsoft Names Nadella CEO

Redmond-based Microsoft confirmed this morning that it has named Satya Nadella--a 22 year veteran of the company--as its third CEO, ever. In its announcement of the move, Microsoft also said that founder Bill Gates will step up his role at the company, becoming Technology Advisor at the company. Nadella was most recently Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group.
