Getty Images Acquires Scoopt

Seattle-based Getty Images said today that it has acquired Scoopt, a provider of user-generated editorial content. Scoopt aggregates and distributes news related photographs and videos captured by amateur photographers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
