F5 Networks Names New CEO

Seattle-based F5 Networks said late Wednesday that it has named Manny Rivelo as its new President and CEO, as well as a new member of its board, as longtime CEO John McAdam shifts to Chairman of the board. McAdam is retiring on July 1st from F5. McAdam had been at the helm of F5 for the past 15 years. Rivelo has been at F5 since October of 2011, and previous to that had been Senior Vice President of Engineering Systems and Operations for Cisco Systems. Rivelo had spent 19 years at Cisco.
