Tempered Networks Raises $15M

Seattle-based Tempered Networks, a developer of secure networking products for the connected device market, said today that it has raised $15M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Ignition Partners, and also included IDG Ventures. Tempered Networks said that Ignition's John Connors joins the company's board. Tempered Networks has now raised $22M in funding. Tempered Networks is led by former F5 Networks founder Jeff Hussey. The company focuses on industrial control equipment and networks.
