Cray Names New Board Member

Seattle-based supercomputer developer Cray said this morning that it has named Prith Banerjee as a new member of its board, as well as Chair of the Strategic Technology Assessment Committee. Banerjee is the Chief Technology Officer of ABB Group, the Swiss automation and power product firm. Banerjee also has served as HP, and was Professor of Electrical Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, among other positions. He's also on the United States National Academy of Engineering Computer Science and Telecommunications Board.
