Clearwire In Executive Shakeup

Kirkland-based Clearwire said Thursday afternoon that CEO Bill Morrow has resigned from the firm's board and as CEO. Clearwire said that Morrow departs for "personal reasons", and will be replaced by John Stanton, current the Chairman of the firm's board of directors. Stanton will serve as Interim CEO, and previously has been CEO of Western Wireless and VoiceStream Wireless. The firm said it has launched a search for a new CEO. In addition to the shuffle at the CEO level, the firm said its Chief Commercial Officer, Mike Seivert, and CIO, Kevin Hart, are also leaving.
