Casabyte Acquired by JDSU

Renton, Washington-based Casabyte, a provider of test tools for the wireless market, has been acquired by JDSU. Milpitas, California-based JDSU said it is in an agreement to purchase Casabyte for an undisclosed amount. Casabyte will become part of JDSU's COmmunications Test and Measurement division. Casabyte's products are used to test mobile cellular phone networks based on 2G, 2.5G, and 3G wireless protocols.
