Amazon Names As Possible Buyer For E-Book Technology

Seattle's Amazon.com has been named as a possible buyer of electronic book reader technology from Samsung Electronics. A report from Bloomberg, citing an person familiar with the matter, said that Samsung is trying to sell its Dutch subsidiary, Liquavista BV to Amazon.com Liquavista is a developer of electrowetting technology used in electronic readers such as the Kindle. No other details of the rumored deal have been released.
