Vacasa Taps Expedia, Hotwire Vet For Board

Portland-based vacation rental management provider Vacasa as named Brian Gill to its board of directors, the company said on Thursday afternoon. Gill is currently SVP of Technology at Nordstrom, and was previously an executive at Expedia, as well as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at Hotwire. Vacasa uses technology to manage what it says are more than 6,000 vacation rentals acound the world. The company has so far raised $40M in a Series A funding, which came from Assurant and Level Equity.
