Triad Speakers Acquired By Smart Home Products Maker Control4

Portland, Oregon-based Triad Speakers, which makes custom speakers for the high end audio market, has been acquired by smart home products maker Control4. Control4 said it would pay $9.6 million in cash for Triad, which it said had approximately $9M in revenues in 2016. Control4 said the buy will deepen ints offerings in integrated audio. Triad's founder, Larry Pexton, as well as the rest of its team, will join Control4, and continue to operate out of its Portland location.
