Synapse Acquired By Altran

Seattle-based Synapse, which provides product development consulting and related services, has been acquired by a unit of French company Altran, the companies said this week. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Altran said that its product development arm, Cambridge Consultants, is acquiring Synapse, and that the two will create a new combined company focused on product development. Altran said the acquisition will help Cambridge Consultants double its scale and enhance its reach in the US and Asia. Synapse was advised by Cascadia Capital and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in the deal.
