Report: Amazon Buys Tapzo For App Services
Amazon reportedly paid around $40M this week to acquire Indian startup Tapzo, a provider of a platform which lets users run multiple apps without having to go through multiple installs, including Uber and Ola. Amazon has not confirmed the amount paid or confirmed or denied the deal went through. Tapzo was venture backed by Sequoia Capital India, Ru-Net, and American Express Ventures.
