Madrona Raises $300M In New Venture Investment Fund
Seattle-based Madrona Venture Group has raised a brand new, $300M investment fund--its seventh--as it continues to make investments in companies in the Pacific Northwest. According to Madrona, the new fund will continue to go to early stage technology companies, with a primary focused on those based in the Pacific Northwest. Madrona said its Fund VII was over-subscribed, with investors including endowments, foundations, family offices, outsourced Chief Investment Offices (OCIOs) and entrepreneurs. The new fund brings Madrona's total funds under management to nearly $1.6 billion. Madrona has been focused on investments in the Pacific Northwest now for the last 23 years.
