Nintex Acquired By Thoma Bravo
Bellevue, Washington-based process automation software developer Nintex has been acquired by private equity investor Thoma Bravo, the companies said on Friday. Financial details of the buy were not announced. Nintex had been owned by TA Associates and Updata Partners. As part of the deal, the company said that Eric Johnson, who has served at CFO of Nintex for the last four years, takes over as CEO from John Burton. The companies said they expect the deal to be completed by the end of March. Nintex was acquired by TA Associates and Updata in 2008; the investors installed Burton (a General Partner and co-founder of Updata) as CEO in 2013.
