Tripwire Officially Pulls IPO

Portland-based Tripwire officially pulled its IPO today, according to a filing with the SEC, as the firm wraps up a deal to be acquired by Thoma Bravo. Tripwire said it May that it was being acquired by Thoma Bravo. Tripwire had originally filed for an IPO on May 28, 2010, and the withdrawal was expected after the announcement of the acquisition. Details on the buyout of Tripwire have not been announced. The firm is a maker of IT security and compliance tools.
