Ignition's Trifacta Gets $48M More For Data Software
One of the startups backed by Seattle-based venture investor Ignition Partners has just received a big new funding round. San Francisco-based Trifacta, a developer of "data wrangling" tools, has raised $48M in a new funding round, according to the company. The funding came from Columbia Pacific, Deutsche Borse, Ericsson, Google, and New York Life plus existing investors Accel, Cathay Innovation, Greylock Partners, Ignition Partners, and Ridge Ventures. The company says it has now raised $124M in funding. Trifacta's last funding round was led by Ignition Partners, and Ignition's Bob Kelly sits on Trifacta's board of directors. Trifacta's software is used to help prepare data for use in big data and other data anlytics tools. Adam Wilson is CEO of Trifacta. More information »
