Frazier Healthcare Partners Raises $419M Life Sciences Fund

Seattle- and Menlo Park, California-based Frazier Healthcare Partners, which invests in life sciences companies, said on Wednesday that it has raised $419M in a new fund, Frazier Life Sciences IX, L.P.. The company said it exceeded its funding target on the new fund. Frazier Life Sciences IX is the second fund specifically dedicated to Life Sciences, according to the firm. Frazier has raised a total of $3.4M in capital over its lifetime. The new fund is led by Managing General Partners Patrick Heron and Jamie Topper. Frazier said the new fund will target two thirds of its investment in Seed and Series A rounds.
