QuoteWizard Buys RateElert

Seattle-based online insurance quoting service QuoteWizard said it has acquired insurance marketing and rate comparison site operator RateElert, including RateElert's online insurance technology rate comparison platform, RATEKICK.com. Financial details of the buy were not announced. According to QuoteWizard, the deal will help it grow its portfolio and new market segments. RateElert was founded in 2009, and was based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
