Microsoft Sued By Kaspersky Lab Over Antivirus Replacement

Microsoft has just been sued by antivirus developer Kaspersky Lab, saying that Microsoft has been deliberately replacing Kaspersky's anti-virus software with its own software, Windows Defender, as part of the upgrade to Windows 10. Kaspersky Lab said it has filed antitrust complaints with both the European Commission and Russian authorities against Microsoft. Kaspersky founder Eugene Kaspersy said, in a blog post, that "Microsoft is gradually squeezing independent developers out of the Windows ecosystem if it has its own application for this or that purpose."
