Conversa Gets $8M For Improving Communications Between Doctors, Patients
Portland- and San Francisco-based Conversa, a developer of communications tools to help improve the flow of information between doctors and patients, announced this morning that it has raised $8M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Northwell Ventures, and also included Epic Ventures, Healthgrades, and others. Conversa says its software offers up a library of over 50 conversation programs that include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), congestive heart failure (CHF), diabetes, hypertension, joint replacement, and other conditions, which are used to automate interactions with patients. Joseph Schulman of Northwell Health Solutions, and Steven Lindseth of Triple Tree Capital Partners both join the company's board with the funding. More information »
