Avvo Bolsters Social Features

Seattle-based Avvo, which operates online directories of lawyers and doctors, said today that it has bolstered its social media features. According to the firm, it has added new social media features to allow doctors to share their actions on the site via Facebook and Twitter; added a new email options to Q&A on its forums; included voting on Q&A answers; and added new peer invitations and endorsements. Avvo has been bolstering its outreach to doctors, as it expands its site beyond its origins in listing and ranking attorneys and into the medical area.
