Amazon Sued By VR Headset Developer Over Knockoffs
Seattle-based Amazon has been sued by a developer of virtual reality headsets, claiming that the online site allowed others to sell knockoffs on the site, despite the developer's registered trademark. The lawsuit echoes other trademark infringement suits which have filed against Amazon, which allows third party sellers to sell their products through its website. Wow Virtual Reality, which sells its virtual reality headsets under the VR Box name, sued Amazon in a California federal court earlier this week.
