Amazon Launches Amazon Cash For Those Without Credit, Debit
Amazon has launched a new service, AmazonCash, which lets consumers who don't have credit or debit cards add funds to their Amazon account, using local retailers. According to Amazon, the new service works by providing a barcode, which users can bring into participating stores, where they can pay cash which will go directly to their Amazon Balance. The new service is currently available at such stores as CVS, Speedway, Kum & Go, D&W Fresh Market, Sheetz, Family Fare Supermarkets, and VG's Grocery. The new service appears to be aimed at the mass of unbanked consumers, who do not have credit cards or debit cards, but who would like to order items from the Internet giant.
