Bloomberg: Jeff Bezos Is Now The World's Second Richest Person

Amazon.com's Jeff Bezos is now the world's second richest person, according to Bloomberg, based on Amazon.com's stock price--which surged after the announcement that it is buying Middle Eastern e-commerce firm Souq.com. According to Bloomberg, Bezos is now worth $75.6 billion on its Bloomberg Billionaires Index, handily beating out Warren Buffett for the second ranking spot in its list. Microsoft's Bill Gates still remains on top, with $86 billion in net worth.
