Gates, Bezos Top Richest In Tech List

Two, Seattle-area technology moguls are prominently featured in the latest ranking by Forbes of The Richest People in Tech. The list, unsurprisingly, lists Bill Gates as #1 in the world in the technology industry, with a net worth of $79.6 billion, and Jeff Bezos as #3, with $47.8 billion. Microsoft was good to many on the list, with former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer #8 on the list, with a $22.7 billion fortune, and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen at #12, with $17.5 billion.
