Blucora Names CEO Of HD Vest Unit

Bellevue-based Blucora said on Monday that it has named Bob Oros as CEO of HD Vest, replacing Roger Ochs, who was the company's CEO for 30 years. HD Vest is a wealth management firm focused on taxes. Oros was most recently Executive Vice President and Head of the Registered Investment Advisors segment at Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, a unit of Fidelity Investments. Blucora--which, once upon a time, was Infospace--acquired HD Vest in October of 2015, paying $580M for the company.
