Microsoft Backs InsideSales In New Unicorn Funding Round
Microsoft Corp. is one of the big investors in a new round for customer relationship and sales management software developer InsideSales. InsideSales--which is one of the highly valued "unicorn" startups--said it raised $50M in a new growth equity round of funding today, which was led by Polaris Partners, and also included Microsoft, the Irish Strategic Investment Fund, plus existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, Hummer Winblad, U.S. Venture Partners, Epic Ventures, and Zetta Venture Partners. Polaris and Microsoft are both existing investors in the company, which is based in Utah. More information »
