Amazon Rolls Out New Rewards Credit Card For Prime Members
Seattle-based Amazon.com has rolled out its own, rewards credit card this morning, in a deal with credit card issuer Chase, which will give 5 percent back on Amazon.com purchases, and 2 percent back on restaurants, gas stations, and drugstores, plus 1 percent back everywhere else. According to Amazon, the new Prime Rewards Visa Card will only be available to "eligible" Prime members. The new card replaces the company's existing Amazon Rewards Visa. The rewards for prime members are redeemable only through purchasing products on Amazon.com, but there's no limit to the amount of rewards users can earn using the card.
