INRIX Ties Into Alexa

Kirkland-based INRIX has connected its OpenCar connected vehicle platform with Amazon's Alexa voice services, the company said this week. According to INRIX, the integration will allow users to access music, weather, traffic, and other information via voice. INRIX also said it is developing an Alexa skill to communicate with their connected vehicles within their homes, so that users--for example--could send route directions and traffic information to their vehicles from home.
