Inrix Ties Into I-95 Traffic Project
Kirkland-based traffic information provider Inrix reported yesterday that it has tied into a group studying traffic along the eastern I-95 corridor. INRIX said it has tied in with the I-95 Corridor Coalition and the University of Maryland, where its data will go to supplement crowd-sourced traffic data in improving the way state and federal transportation agencies are allocating billions in transportation funds. Inrix said its data is being used across ten states for real time and historical traffic information on about 20,000 miles of roads along the I-95 corridor. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
