Surround.io Acquired By Xevo

Seattle-based Surround.io, which was developing software to create "smart cameras", has been acquired by Xevo. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Xero is led by Satoshi Nakajima, who previously was at Ignition and Microsoft. According to Surround.io founder and CEO John Ludwig, the company will work with Xevo on technology in the automotive market.
