Ignition Partners Boosts Team In Silicon Valley

Bellevue-based venture capital investor Ignition Partners said today that it has hired Preeti Rathi as Principal in the firm's new Los Altos office. Ignition said that Rathi joins from Opus Capital, where she also was a Principal; she has made investments in such companies as Turi (acquired by Apple) and Edunav. She also had served at Juniper Networks, in the venture and strategic investment area. Ignition said she made investments there in Wickr and Vectra Networks. Ignition said Rathi will identify and support new investments for the firm in the areas of machine learning, cloud application services, vertical industry reinvention and infrastructure.
