Amperity Sets Erik Selberg As New VP
Seattle-based Amperity, a startup which is using machine learning for enterprise marketing, has named Erik Selberg as Vice President of Machine Learning. Selberg was most recently at T-Mobile, and had also served at Amazon.com, Microsoft, RealNetworks, FizzyLab, and Go2Net, in addition to founding search engine service MetaCrawler when he was a PhD student at UW. MetaCrawler was acquired by Infospace back in 1999. Selberg got his start as a software entrepreneur in high school, when he started developing multi-player computer games for computer bulletin board (BBS) software.
