HotelTonight, Backed by Barton, Blachford, Finds New Funding
The developer of a last minute hotel booking application for mobile phones, which is backd by Rich Barton and Erik Blachford, has scored more funding. Hotel Tonight, which is based in San Francisco, said it has raised $23M in a Series C funding round. The round came from U.S. Venture Partners, Accel Partners, Battery Ventures and First Round Capital. It's unclear how much participation the company's original seed investors had in the latest round-- Zillow's Rich Barton and Expedia's Erik Blachford are both angel investors in HotelTonight.
