Cascadia CleanTech Alliance Gives Out $25K In Prizes, Highlights Firms
The Cascadia CleanTech Alliance, which runs the Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator and Cascadia CleanTech Prize funding competition, said this week that it has awarded $25,000 in prizes--in conjunction with Oregon BEST--to a new set of firms as part of its Cascadia CleanTech Accelerator. According to the group, it awarded $10,000 to TryEco, a developer of agricultural technology; with additional prizes to Beta Hatch (insects for food, feed, and fertilizer); SmartVineyards (smart irrigation for vineyards), plus special recognition to EasyXAFS (instruments for x-ray spectroscopy); Imber Water Treatment (on site water treatment technology); as well as SmartVineyards. The group said that twenty companies competed in the competition.
