Wave Raises $125M In Financing, Buys CoastCom, SawNet
Kirkland-based gigabit fibre and broadband access services provider Wave said on Wednesday that it has raised $125M in a debt financing and acquired two companies. The company said the funding will go to help it accelerate fiber network construction and expand its commercial broadband services. Terms of that new funding, which was an add-on to its existing, first lien term loan, were not announced. Wave said that, separately, it has acquired two fiber-optic broadband providers--Newport, Oregon-based CoastCom, and Vancouver, Washington-based SawNet. Financial details of those two transactions were also not announced.
