Volt Athletics Teams With Seahawks To Roll Out Training App To Local Schools

Renton-based Volt Athletics, which develops a mobile app for sports and strength training, has teamed up with the Seattle Seahawks, to roll out the company's app in local high schools. According to the company, it will be donating its strength and conditioning programs to Renton, John F. Kennedy, and Sumner High Schools. The company says its app provide reps, sets, and amount of weight to life for exercises, and provides step-by-step instructions, coaching cues, and more. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The company says the use of its apps help provide safe and effective workout plans, which helps to build strength and reduce the risk of injury.
