Bing Targets Schools With Ad-Free Search
Bing said today that it has launched a new program to help take the search engine into schools, by offering up an ad-free and privacy-enhanced version of Bing to schools. Bing said its Bing for Schools initiative will let schools in the U.S. tailor Bing for their K-12 audience, including removing all advertisements from search results, improving privacy protection, filtering out adult content, and addition of learning features. Bing said the program will roll out later this year.
