Madrona Re-Ups On Teaching Robot Maker Wonder Workshop
Seattle-based Madrona Venture Group has made another investment in teaching robot maker Wonder Workshop, the developers of the "Dash and Dot" learning robots, Wonder Workshop said Thursday. Wonder Workshop said it raised $20M in its Series B, which was led by WI Harper Group and Idea Bulb Ventures. Madrona, a prior investor in the company, joined other existing investors Learn Capital, Charles River Ventures, and TCL in the funding for the robot company. Wonder Workshop's "Dash and Dot" robots are used by elementary schools to teach the basics of computer science and software coding. More information »
