Vertafore Acquired By Bain Capital, Vista Equity

Bothell, Washington-based Vertafore, a developer of software for the insurance industry, said this morning that Bain Capital Private Equity and Vista Equity Partners are in a deal to acquire the company from TPG Capital. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Vertafore said it is being advised by BofA Merrill Lynch and Ropes & Gray LLP in the deal. Credit Suisse is providing financing and advice to Bain and Vista, with Kirkland & Ellis LLP and EY LLP also advising those two on the transaction.
