Pacific Northwest Sees Venture Totals Rise To $300.1M In Q1
Venture capital investments in the Pacific Northwest rose in Q1, to $300.1M, invested across 33 deals, according to the latest numbers from the MoneyTree Report by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the National Venture Capital Association, based on data from Thomson Reuters. The region had a quarter-to-quarter increase from the $198.6M invested in Q4 of 2015. Washington saw $246.7M invested across 22 companies, and Oregon saw $53.4M invested in 11 companies. Nationally, venture capital investments were flat, with $12.1 billion invested across the country, flat compared with $12.0 billion invested in Q4.
