Radisys Signs Up For Open Source Data Center Project
Hillsboro, Oregon-based wireless software and hardware developer Radisys said today that it has linked into a new open source data center platform, and will become the commercial systems integrator for the CORD (Central Office Re-architected as a Datacenter) project, which is aimed at putting together a hardware blueprint and open source software stack to help optimize telco data centers. The CORD project uses commodity servers, white-box switches, and OpenStack, Docker, ONOS and XOS as its core components.
