Enroute Systems Acquired By Pitney Bowes

Seattle-based Enroute Systems, which develops logistics and shipping management software, has been acquired by Pitney Bowes. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Pitney Bowes said the buy will help it expand its global eocmmerce offerings for companies. Enroute was founded in 2008, and develops shipping and transportation management systems delivered via the cloud, which helps retailers and e-tailers manage shipping. The company was founded by Keith McCall. Enroute was backed by angel investors, and also had raised money from the Zino Society.
