Starbucks Launches Coffee Delivery Service In Seattle
Need a refill on that Starbucks coffee, but just don't have time to stand in line? Starbucks said today it has launched a new, coffee delivery service which will get you a coffee--anywhere you are--in about 30 minutes. The pilot program, which launches in Seattle today, taps into on-demand delivery service Postmates, and will give customers a 60 minute windows for delivery, with Starbucks expecting most orders will arrive in less than 30 minutes. Starbucks said it is hoping to provide that coffee to people who are at soccer games with their kids, at home with family, or gathering at the park with friends. Starbucks did not say how much it will charge for the delivery.
