Intelius Goes To Private Equity Firm

The acquisition of Bellevue-based Intelius by private equity investor H.I.G. Capital has completed, H.I.G. announced this morning. Intelius is now being led by Prakash Kondepudi, who is replacing Intelius founder Naveen Jain in the CEO position. Kondepudi has been President of Intelius for the last five years. Financial terms of the deal have not been announced, however, the deal has been pegged at more than $100M. Intelius offers up online background checks and related services. News of the deal had leaked last week.
