Amazon Brings HDR To Prime Instant Video
Seattle-based Amazon.com has rolled out new, High Dynamic Range (HDR) support to its video streaming service, Amazon Instant Video, in the first rollout of the technology on a video service. HDR is a software technique which increases the dynamic range of shadows and highlights in photos and videos. Amazon said the first video title with the HDR support is its own, original series, Mozart in the Jungle, and that it plans more releases of series with the HDR technology.
