Itron Loses COO

Liberty Lake, Washington-based smart meter maker Itron said late Monday that its Chief Operating Officer, John Holleran, is leaving the company. Itron did not say where Holleran is going, but said it has launched an executive search for a replacement. Holleran has been at Itron since 20077, and had taken the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer role in January of 2013. Itron is a maker of smart utility meters, used to better track and automated energy, water, and other utility meter readings.
