Amazon Connects Kindle, IMDb

Among the features launched yesterday by Amazon.com in its launch of the new Kindle devices, was a feature which connects the new Kindle Fires to its movie database service, IMDb. Amazon launched its "X-Ray for Movies" service which lets customers see the names and other details of actors in scenes being played on the Kindle Fire HD, by tapping on the screen. The new feature cross-indexes details on scenes with IMDb's filmographies and information on actors.
