Skytap Rolls Mobile App

Seattle-based SkyTap, the developer of DevOps and related software development and deployment products, is taking advantage of the ubiquity of smartphones with the release of a new mobile app. The startup said today that it has launched the Skytap Mobile Admin App for iOS, which allows administrators to manage their IT environments from a smartphone. The company said it is responding to the consumerization of IT, where IT developers and managers are now expecting the same kind of convenience from mobile apps as consumers are now used on their smartphone.
