MOD Pizza Gets $40M In Funding To Expand Nationwide

Seattle-based MOD Pizza said Thursday that it has raised $40M in a private equity funding, from PWP Growth Equity and its existing shareholders. The Seattle-based make-your-own pizza chain said it will use the funding to support national expansion. The company said it has now raised more than $70M in equity. MOD Pizza lets customers create their own individual pizzas and salads.
